Course Information

Purpose

Nihon Kohden OrangeMed, LLC is offering Technical Service Training for Nihon Kohden’s NKV-550 Ventilator. Our technical service trainings are for Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) and field/in-house service technicians to learn how to operate, conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate Nihon Kohden ventilators. The course covers product overview, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and service information and processes. As well as operation hands-on, unit disassembly/reassembly, calibration and verification test.
The training class will begin at 8:00 am daily. Coffee and tea will be served in the morning and lunch will be provided. Lodging and facility information will be available to registered attendees after the registration cut-off date. Please note that attendance for the full product session is mandatory in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Class sizes are limited to ensure optimal hands-on experience.

Service manual and support documentation materials will be provided.

NKV-550 3-day seminar

Tuition covers one learner for an in-person class, valid for 18 months. Hands-on training for Biomedical and service technicians on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating Nihon Kohden NKV-550 ventilators. Full attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion.

Registration Info

Each attendee must pre-register by completing the Pre-registration Form so that it is received no later than registration cut-off date of 30 days prior to the class start date. Nihon Kohden America, LLC limits the number of registered attendees to ensure the best learning environment. Confirmation for each attendee will be sent by email.

Cancellation

NO-SHOW POLICY:
Nihon Kohden LLC no-show policy stipulates that the full tuition fee will be charged if a participant fails to attend a scheduled class without providing a written minimum 10 days’ notice. Should a tuition waiver have been used during registration, the full tuition fee will be applied, or the waiver will be forfeited. This policy is in place to acknowledge the resources and preparation invested in the arrangement. Your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy are greatly appreciated.

CLASS CANCELLATION:
Nihon Kohden America, LLC retains the authority to cancel any seminar or class at its discretion. In the event of cancellation, registered attendees will receive timely notification, and their tuition will either be refunded or applied towards a future seminar or class.
