Learning Objectives
Training is focused from the beginner to the advanced level technologist. Participants will:
- Gain an understanding of NCS theory, peripheral nerve anatomy and physiology
- Demonstrate techniques for recording common types of studies including troubleshooting tips (motor, sensory, f-wave, h-reflexes, rep stim, and blinks)
- Acquire an understanding of what constitutes technically satisfactory NCS
Instructor Bio:
Eric Pepper, MS, MBA, CNIM, R. EEG/EP T., Director HAS – Specialty Markets
Eric has been in the field of Neurodiagnostics for 12 years. The majority of his career has been spent in the operating room providing neuromonitoring services, with clinical experience covering cardiovascular, ENT, neuro, and orthopedic cases. As a multimodality trained technologist, Eric has been providing clinical support and customer training for nerve conduction studies (NCS) since joining Nihon Kohden in 2016. As part of the NCS workshops, Eric often collaborates with technologists who are also current customers to provide a complete clinical training course.
